Medway Oil Co., Inc. has been a
dedicated product and service provider for many years. Founded as "Medway
Coal and Grain" in 1954, by Morris Mushnick, Medway Coal and
Grain provided oil, coal, grain, cement, and trucking
services. Medway Coal and Grain was changed in 1966 to Medway
Oil Co., Inc., bringing a change in service as well.
Medway Oil Co., Inc. sold #2
fuel oil and kerosene, but growth did not stop there. Michael
and Samuel Mushnick, sons of the previous owner, Morris,
brought new ideas to the company. They added LP gas in 1978,
and they added coal back to the provided services in 1981.
Medway Oil Co., Inc. continued to prosper and expand,
covering many of the surrounding towns.
Jeffrey S. Mushnick purchased
the company from Michael and Samuel Mushnick in 1986, and he
became the third-generation owner and president of Medway Oil
Co., Inc. Jeffrey had big ideas for the company that would
bring it to even greater prosperity. Jeffrey added air
conditioning service, total LP gas service, and swimming pool
heater repair to the services provided by the company.
Always keeping family service in mind, Jeffrey has produced a
company that can provide total home care and comfort
service. Jeffrey’s “hands on” management style, and personal
knowledge and service of his customers continues to insure
Medway Oil’s dominance in this highly competitive market.
In 1999, Medway Oil Co., Inc.
celebrated its 45th year in business and is continuing to
make strides to improve the personalized customer service for
which it is noted. The office is now fully computerized to
guarantee efficient delivery, complete inventory of parts,
and quality service.
Believing strongly in
community service, Jeffrey regularly donates fuel to: Medway
